Wine Description: With a slight oaking this old World style Merlot has benefited from time in bottle creating a multi layered, medium bodied red.

Winery Information: Founded in 1994 after the break up of the USSR, 40Km south of the capital Chisinau. The Sirbu family have invested heavily in their 500 hectare estate with a state of the art winery. Their vineyards surrounding the village of Puhoi are nestled in the rolling hills which benefit from the warm summers.
