Bodega Tittarelli – Mendoza
Founded in 1915 by Enrico Tittarelli with just 3 hectares of vines, Bodega Tittarelli is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina. The winery now owns over 1100 hectares of its own vineyards located in the foothills of the Andes in the Mendoza Valley. An area with an exceptional micro climate for growing high quality grapes. With the expertise of three generations of wine makers combining new technology with traditional wine making practises, Tittarelli are making wines of great character and distinction.
Bodega Putruele – San Juan
Don Carlos Putruele, son of Italian immigrants, settled in “San Juan de la Frontera” in the 1950s and dedicated himself to his great passion of wine making when in 1958, he founded the winery Bodega Putruele in the Tulum Valley. 3 generations of the Putruele family have since been stewards of this stand out winery, guiding and growing it into the modern and forward thinking winery which exists today.
The winery and vineyards are located in the San Juan Valley nestled in the foothills of the Andes , and now also includes vineyards plots in the iconic Pedernal Valley whose high altitude production at 1300 metres is renown for producing Malbec of incredible elegance and intensity.
