Wine Description: Garnet red colour. Hints of plum, cocoa and liquorice on the nose. Good body and well balanced with robust tannins.

Winery Information: Cantine Pirovano was founded in 1910 and is still run by the Pirovano family with Beatrice being the latest generation to have joined the company. Located near Lombardy they have used over a 100 years of experience to produce some of Italy’s most iconic wines. Grapes used to make Passito wines have been partially dried on straw mats in barns in order to concentrate the grapes flavours and sweetness prior to vinification. This results in wonderful rich wines with great depth of flavour.
