Wine Description: Having spent 2 years in French oak, this Cab Sauv grown on the simonsberg slopes is a multi-layered mouthful of fruits of the forest, graphite laced with spiced vanilla.

Winery Information: Simonsig Estate is named after the magnificent views of the Simonsberg Mountain and is located in Stellenbosch 30 miles from Cape Town. Since French Huguenot Jacques Malan first set foot in the Cape in 1688, the Malan family has accumulated generations of wine know how which has resulted in them being one of the pioneering private wine estates of South Africa. Today three Malan brothers passionately tender their vines and steer the estate, constantly looking forward whilst keeping a respectful eye on the past. One of South Africa’s most awarded wineries.
