Wine Description: A powerful well-made wine made with a nose of dark fruits and undergrowth. The palate is rich and smooth with dark berries and herbal notes and a long finish.

Winery Information: The Lafond family history in the Southern Rhone dates back to 1780. The cellar was rebuilt in 1970 and named Roc-Epine taking inspiration from a popular racehorse. All wines are now produced organically by Jean Pierre and Pascal Lafond from their own vineyards in Tavel, Lirac and Chateauneuf du Pape. The wines are highly regarded amongst leading critics and wine lovers.
