Wine Description: Made from vines which are more than 750 meters above sea level, this intense, elegant red has a palate of red fruits, currants, strawberry & cassis, with hints of Capsicum, chocolate & Vanilla.

Winery Information: Don Carlos Putruele, son of Italian immigrants, settled in “San Juan de la Frontera” in the 1950s and dedicated himself to his great passion of wine making when in 1958, he founded the winery Bodega Putruele in the Tulum Valley. 3 generations of the Putruele family have since been stewards of this stand out winery, guiding and growing it into the modern and forward thinking winery which exists today. The winery and vineyards are located in the San Juan Valley nestled in the foothills of the Andes , and now also includes vineyards plots in the iconic Pedernal Valley whose high altitude production at 1300 metres is renown for producing Malbec of incredible elegance and intensity.
