Winery Information: Les Vignerons d’Alignan du Vent have formed a co-operative which combines tradition and modernity. Founded in 1936, its members own some of Languedoc’s most enviable terroirs over 853 hectares, which help give La Cave d’Alignan a breadth of wines which have been passionately produced through parcel selection and modern wine making processes. The vineyards are favourably located on schiste soil, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with cooling northerly winds which help slow grape maturity and keep unwanted humidity and pests at bay.
